Our Safety Philosophy

At Mygigy, we operate as an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act. While we facilitate connections, we take "Reasonable Due Diligence" seriously to ensure that every interaction on our platform is safe, professional, and compliant with Indian laws.

1. PROVIDER DUE DILIGENCE

We implement a multi-layered verification process for service providers to ensure accountability:

KYC Verification

Mandatory Aadhaar-based identity verification for all providers to establish a traceable digital footprint.

Professional Audit

Licensed professionals (Doctors, CAs, Lawyers) must show valid Council IDs to users which are must be cross-verified with official registries.

2. ANTI-TRAFFICKING & CHILD SAFETY

We maintain a hardline stance against any form of exploitation or illegal personal services.

CRITICAL

POCSO & BNS Compliance

Mygigy utilizes automated AI filters and human moderators to scan for keywords, imagery, or behavior indicative of exploitation.

  • Immediate Reporting: Accounts attempting to link minors to services are reported to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) within one hour of detection.
  • Permanent Bans: Any user violating the Indecent Representation of Women Act is permanently blacklisted from the ecosystem.

3. TECHNOLOGY SAFEGUARDS

We use technology to create a "safe harbor" between users before and during service delivery:

In-App Chat Monitoring

All communications are logged for dispute resolution and safety audits.

Number Masking

Providers and users connect via anonymized numbers to protect personal contact details.

4. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & LAW ENFORCEMENT

While Mygigy is not responsible for provider conduct, we facilitate resolution through our dedicated center:

Resolution Center

For bookings made via the app, our team can review chat logs to mediate service disputes. In-app payments allow us to hold or refund funds in cases of verified service failure.

Official Investigations

Mygigy proactively cooperates with law enforcement. We provide data and logs to official agencies upon presentation of a valid legal order, ensuring a swift response to any criminal activity.

5. THE "OFF-PLATFORM" RISK

Protect Your Safety & Your Money

Interacting or paying providers outside the Mygigy app (Direct Cash/Personal UPI) removes all "Safe Harbor" protections. Mygigy cannot verify, mediate, or refund any transaction occurring off-platform. Such activity also violates our terms and leads to permanent account suspension.
